  • The staff accommodations are located within a short walk of the Mountaineer Lodge.

    Accommodations are subsidized, meaning reduced rates, and are available to staff for the duration of their employment. Both residences have shared single bedrooms. The kitchen, living areas, and bathrooms are shared.

  • Yes! We are looking for team members to join our team in this busy season. Please let us know the name of the stellar worker you’re referring and we will look out for their application.

  • Lake Louise offers year round shuttle transportation to the Lake Louise Ski Resort, and to the town of Banff (for a nominal fee). If you want to get to Calgary, there is a shuttle going from Banff to Calgary and return regularly ($$).

  • Yes, the Mountaineer Lodge is family owned and operated. Its sister property is Mount Robson Inn in Jasper, Alberta. The same family also owns Best Western in Valemount, BC. Are you interested in applying to these other two properties? Let us know!

  • Bring clothes for a variety of weather as we experience everything from sunny, warm, summer days to rain, snow, and everything in between. Layers will be your best friend.

    We recommend that you bring a backpack, jackets/coats, winter gear (even for summer), your favourite personal items (books, musical instruments, laptop, hobbies), etc. You do not need to bring any furniture.

  • If you are part of the team, you will be provided a uniform shirt and nametag. We ask all team members to wear comfortable, clean clothing, and appropriate footwear for walking and standing.

    Upon your arrival, you will be greeted and shown to the staff accommodation. You will receive your orientation package which includes your employee handbook and some paperwork for you to complete.

    Your manager will also give you a work schedule which includes a training schedule. You will be shown around the property and get to meet the hotel team!
