Who we are.
Welcome to the Mountaineer Lodge, a proud member of the Vantage Hotels family. At Vantage Hotels, we believe in fostering a community of explorers who share a love for travel, connection, and mountain experiences. We're Mountainkind.
The Mountaineer Lodge has been a cherished part of our family’s hotel business since 2012. Our journey began in the 1970s in the picturesque town of Jasper, and over the decades, our passion for hospitality has only grown. In addition to the Mountaineer Lodge, we also operate the Best Western Plus in Valemount, BC, which joined our trio of hotels in 2022.
Growing up amidst the stunning landscapes of the mountains, our family has always enjoyed skiing, hiking, and snowmobiling. We aim to share these experiences with our guests and ensure our team members also have safe and fulfilling adventures during their time in Lake Louise.
We understand that moving to a new community can be challenging, so we strive to create a welcoming atmosphere where you can feel comfortable connecting with management and colleagues. We also provide access to community resources to help you navigate any challenges you may face.

What We Offer.

Staff Housing
If you need accommodation, we offer housing at subsidized rates. Like most staff accommodations, you will have roommates, sharing the same space. Like all staff accommodations, there will be house rules and respect for others is a priority.

Advancement
Opportunities for advancement come up and we prefer to hire from within our own team. Promotions are based on your work performance, cooperation, attendance, tenure, skill, and suitability.

Cross Training
While you may be hired for one position, you may develop an interest in another. That’s cool with us! We encourage team members to be cross-trained in other departments to develop skills and explore new opportunities.

We offer friends and family rates not only for stays at the Mountaineer Lodge but also at our sister hotels - The Mount Robson Inn, Jasper & Best Western Plus, Valemount, BC.
